Up until very recently, in-home direct visits were the only way Stainless Steel Waterless cookware was marketed. The prices had to reflect the high overhead of this kind of method.
The stainless steel cookware offered in department stores is of inferior quality by comparison. For example, the retail cookware lids do not fit tightly enough to contain the steam and cook waterless, the pots are not stackable, even for storage, also most of the retail cookware pots were (at most) 3-ply bottom and 1-ply sides, plus many other examples.
With the advent of the World-Wide-Web, it allows all of the features and presentations to be made electronically, and makes remote or mail-order marketing of waterless cookware feasible. We have been ahead of the curve compared to the other companies, and we have passed on the reduced overhead cost to our customers. Most of the other cookware companies are still operating under the same old model.
