Eastern Home Products Cookware

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Why is EHC cookware so much less expensive than competitors? So, we can pass on the cost-savings and sell you the cookware at wholesale prices!

  2. Can I view/buy your cookware in a store near me?
Sorry, in order to keep inventory and overhead costs down, we do not offer our cookware in retail stores. The stainless steel cookware offered in department stores is of inferior quality by comparison. For example, the retail cookware lids do not fit tightly enough to contain the steam and cook waterless, the pots are not stackable, even for storage, also most of the retail cookware pots were (at most) 3-ply bottom and 1-ply sides, plus many other examples.
  3. Does EHC cookware work with induction stoves?
Induction heating is a method by which electrically conducting materials (generally metals), are heated by a non-contact method in an alternating magnetic field. EHC Stainless Steel cookware works with induction stoves due to the iron content in the stainless steel layers. The 7-ply set has the most iron content, and is specially designed to heat efficiently on induction stoves.
  4. What are each of the layers made of?
See the Why Use page for a full description.
  5. I saw mention of a brand of cookware that I have, and I need handles/knobs for it; can you help?
Yes, even though we are not affiliated with those brands, we provide a list of contact information for other cookware brands. See the Other Brands page. Please keep us in mind for the future cookware needs for you or your friends. We are confident that our cookware compares favorably in quality and price to whatever other brand you may have previously purchased.
